The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band (Buxton Military Tattoo 2011) – The Cavalry Music Traditon Lives On

This is footage from the Buxton Military Tattoo 2011 of The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band. This is an outstanding military band of the cavalry tradition.

The base melody for this march, “I Vow To Thee My Country” (Gustav Holst, arr. Searle) is from Holst’s “The Planets” (Jupiter, Bringer of Joy).

One Response to The Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band (Buxton Military Tattoo 2011) – The Cavalry Music Traditon Lives On

  1. Wow this truly is an excellent example of a military band of the cavalry tradition. The synchronicity and exacting positions are to be mentioned as some of the best I have seen.
